Haley is my favorite character and I love her too death, but I've been looking through some season 2 pictures with her and Chris Keller and can't understand how someone could just leave her husband like that. I know she came back and kinda regretted doing the tour and Nathan has forgiven her and I still loved her while she did it, but why did she? I'm not talking about from a writer's storyline perspective, but as if it was a real-life situation. This is in no way me bashing Haley, because like I said, I love her, but I just can't fathom doing something like she did without my husband and then people thinking I did it to cheat. What are your thoughts?

I think really Haley got caught up in her Dream. I really don't think she wanted to hurt Nathan and maybe a part of her didn't even want to go on tour. But i mean if someone handing you a Free Pass to a Career that you always thought was limited. anyone would go for it. even if they say otherwise. Plus with Chris Keller Calling, Iming you about wasting your voice i would think she got pressed to. I mean not to say that what she did was right or wrong. I mean Haley Also my Favorite Character so of course I'm going to defend what she did because i personally don't think she did anything wrong. She was going for her Dream and yes it hurt Nathan, Yes she should have done it Differently. But just give up on your Dream no... I mean Seriously if it was the other way around and it was Nathan i don't think he would give up his so why did Haley have to give up hears... Anyways. I don't think anyone but Haley knows why she did what she did. and it isn't like she can take it back. But i do have to say if it was me in her Situation i would have taken Nate with me. ( lol) that's a question. why didn't she take Nate ?

That's what I was wondering. Why did she ask Nathan to come with her? That's why I think he thought she went because of Chris, at times, because she didn't ask him to go with her. I was nodding my head so hard the first time I saw that scene when Nathan says, "Then why didn't you ask me to go with you?" when she first tells him about the tour. Anyways, like I said, I love Haley and I'm glad she came back to Nathan, but sometimes I just can't help but wonder why she did it.

Yea i get that. But i mean he had to known deep down that she wasn't in it for Chris Keller. I mean come on this is Keller where talking about. He's a Pig and a womanizer. Not Relationship Status. I think all Haley saw in him was the Music, He had the Connections for Haley to realize her Dream and i hate to say it but Nathan didn't. He was a high School kid like Haley was. I don't and can't believe it was anything more. But i still don't understand why couldn't she just take him. I know i would have done that in a heartbeat. Yea i was hoping that she would say yes come with me. But at the end i found out it was all about going on tour and so people can really see her perfume live,Not just a Storyline but in reality. I thought that was a really Cool I just loved that whole Storyline. but there wasn't a Single Second i blamed her for her Decision unlike some Haley hates that i know on other boards. I do wish they had shown her more on Stage and Behind the Tour that would have been really, really Cool. But anyways love that She came back and Naley is together and they put that all behind them now.

I think she went to the tour for 2 reasons, one being ofcourse that she wanted to chase her dream of being a musician, the other being that she was angry at Nathan for asking her to choose between her music and him. Which I think was unfair but since there was so much anger and prides were hurt at both ends, they didn't speak about it. Although I also think Haley acted a bit selfish at that point in time but I guess she had always been a bit of an introvert book worm while Nathan was already good at basketball and popular.
