Here's a list some people over at the CW boards compiled of the reasons why they hate Naley. Agree or disagree? You be the judge. Now, I'm not judging them, I just thought it was interesting:
They’re cheesy
They’re unrealistic
The geek and the jock never really works out.
They got married for sex.
They’re sending the wrong message to young and impressionable viewers
They only think about themselves
They have no respect for their families.
They’re an old, boring married couple.
The pregnancy storyline is lame.
He only went after her to hurt Lucas.
She cheated on him.
She left him for a tour.
He tried to kill himself because she wasn’t around.
Their romance ruined their characterizations.
They have no communication.
They get over their problems too easily.
Their lifestyle is irrational.
They're financially irresponsible.
They got married too young.
They think words like "always and forever" will help them through their problems.
Even Haley's parents find them boring.
Her father pointed out that if they loved each other, they could go to different schools and marry after college if they were still in love. Apparently, they didn't even find that likely.
Because Nathan doesn't have a word in their relationship; Haley makes all the decisions.
They took off their wedding rings.
Because Haley is the Queen of Double Standards- she was allowed weeks to freak out about the pregnancy, but Nathan was supposed to be happy and supportive as soon as he found out.
They need a bracelet to prove their "love."
Nathan almost kissed Haley's sister- and the only reason he didn't was Naley fans voted against it.
Nathan's no longer the "bad guy" he once was.
Haley sacrificed her principles and became a cheerleader.
Haley's sense of humor changed.
Their relationship was rushed.
Nathan almost died and all Haley wanted was sex.
Haley only came back for the tour when it was convenient for her.
They make rain cheesy.
They have no chemistry.
Haley never addressed Nathan's suicide attempt in season two.
Haley wasn't even grateful when Nathan walked into a school shooting to make sure she was alright.
Haley told Brooke she was pregnant before Nathan.
Haley told Lucas she was pregnant before Nathan.
Haley talked to Dan about her pregnancy behind Nathan's back.
Haley went to Karen with her insecurities instead of mentioning them to Nathan.
Nathan doesn't even care enough to get a job.
Nathan thinks basketball is more important than his wife and unborn child.
Nathan made Haley choose between him and her dream of music.
Haley chose music over Nathan.
Because Haley told Nathan she was pregnant after he got accepted to Duke.
Because Haley expects Nathan to give up his future.
Because Nathan was ready to sign the annulment papers.
Because Nathan went to see Haley and freaked out when he realized she'd acquired her dream.
Because there's no trust; Nathan tested Haley with Chris in season 3.
They don't work to keep the marriage together.
They think having sex will save their marriage.
He didn't want to be seen with her.
He made fun of her clothes.
She changed her wardrobe for him.
She went against her beliefs and joined cheerleading just to see more of Nathan.
Nathan suddenly forgot Haley cheated and left him, and made a speech of what she wanted to hear- not what he actually thought.
Because they had sex, and suddenly their marriage was saved.
Because they failed the test to see if they could get married.
Because even Dan knows Nathan's too good for Haley.
Haley felt the need to brand herself with Nathan's jersey number.
Nathan wasn't honored by the branding.
Haley's dumb enough to think that a high school jersey number is something she'll want on her body the rest of her life.
Nathan turned to his "daddy" for help.
Haley pushed Nathan into accepting money he wasn't comfortable taking.
When they got married, they didn't even invite their best friends or Nathan's parents.
Even Marcus understands why they shouldn't be together.
Haley's never questioned what happened to their wedding keepsakes.
Haley didn't come see Nathan when he was near death, just because he said so.
It took a song to realize she had to leave the tour. Apparently, the vows she made and "always and forever" weren't enough.
